Wisconsin State Journal Names Amtelco A Winner Of The Madison, WI Top Workplaces 2021 Award
Amtelco has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by Wisconsin State Journal Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
"During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business."
Amtelco, a family-owned business located in McFarland, Wisconsin, has been a trusted name in call center communication systems, software applications, and telephone switching technologies for 45 years. Founder Bill Curtin II and Amtelco have received more than 30 U.S. Patents for telephony software, data handling methodologies, and telephone switching devices.
Beginning in 1997, the 1Call healthcare division of Amtelco was formed to provide the same innovative call center technology to healthcare facilities. Millions of calls are processed every day by Amtelco and 1Call software applications in operation in all 50 of the United States and more than 20 foreign countries. Mr. Curtin’s ingenuity and generous spirit are reflected within the products, and throughout the entire company. Amtelco and 1Call have earned industry praise with their award-winning products, and are well known for providing outstanding customer support. Amtelco and 1Call proudly support both local and international charities.
Both employees and customers are treated like family. Kevin Mallon, Project Manager for Canterbury District Health Board in Christchurch, New Zealand, a customer of Amtelco’s 1Call healthcare division states, “I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the 1Call team. I know that Canterbury DHB is just one of many 1Call clients and I appreciate their ability to make us feel that we are the only priority they have.”
Amtelco President Tom Curtin continues to be proud of the entire Amtelco employee team. He stated, “While 2020 proved to be very different from any other time in recent history, the Amtelco team stepped up and customer support became the top priority for every one of us. Our customers provide essential call center services to their communities, so we reached out to them to find out how we could help. Since our beginning in 1976, many challenges have arisen, and each time the Amtelco team prevailed, as we did once again in 2020.”
