AMTELCO's Infinity Adds Intelligent Dispatching Features

McFarland, WI - January, 2004 - AMTELCO is pleased to announce two new Infinity features designed to enhance the message dispatching process. Intelligent Dispatching features sav ethe operator time and improve accuracy by automating message handling.

Hold For Check-in Message Flag

  • An Infinity operator can now mark a message that should be Held for Check-in. This option is shown in the new Dispatch List window. If Hold for Check-in is selected, the message will not be dispatched using auto-dial. Operators will be able to search for any messages marked Hold for Check-in to follow up on them.

Ultracom Directed Dispatch

  • Infinity can now instruct UltraComm how to deliver the current messages. The options include Fax Broadcast, Fax Pickup, E-mail, File, Ultratalk, and Wireless Messaging. This allows an operator-initiated or auto-dial to specify how a message should be dispatched.
  • The UltraCom delivery methods can be included as separate items in the new Dispatch List.
