AMTELCO's Adds Powerful NEW Features to Infinity Software Version 5.3

McFarland, WI –AMTELCO is pleased to announce a number of NEW features that are included in the Infinity Software Version 5.3 release. Infinity Software Version 5.3 is the latest release in the Infinity series and includes many new labor saving and profitable features designed to make call centers more efficient and more valuable to their clients.

These new features include:

Infinity Conferencing - Infinity's powerful conferencing features have been enhanced. The number of conference parties allowed in a single conference has been increased to 40. The Conference Bridge now allows moderators to use touch tone commands to control the conference – start and stop recording, mute participants, leave the conference and break down the conference. The new Web interface for the Conference Bridge can be used with AMTELCO's eConferenceLink Web conferencing application or on a stand-alone basis. The moderator can view the participants with their ANI and ANI Name, and control the conference through the interface.

Expiring Specials - An operator can now define an expiration time for a special when they enter it. When the expiration time is reached, the special is automatically marked as delivered. This allows operators to enter temporary specials with the assurance that the time-sensitive information will not show up after the time period has elapsed.

Infinity KB163 Color Keyboard* - The Infinity keyboard has been enhanced to improve operator efficiency, and ease of custom configuration. The keys are now organized into color-coded groups according to their function type. The provides operators with an easy-to-remember key to each group of functions. The Windows ® Telephone Agent includes a new set-up and configuration utility to allow customized keyboard mapping

Directory Colors – Infinity Software Version 5.3 allows Directory Subjects and Listings to be assigned unique colors. This makes the valuable Directory information easier to access, and reduces operator errors and training time.

Unified Reports - This new feature combines all report types into a single interface which can be accessed from the Infinity or eCreator Supervisor applications. This includes MDR reports, Infinity server reports, eCreator reports, IVR reports, UltraComm reports, and Printer Capture reports.

Infinity Switching – Infinity switching incorporates AMTELCO's patented XDS (eXternally Defined Switching) architecture. The XDS switching has been enhanced in Infinity Software Version 5.3, which now includes support for a new Infinity Windows Telephone Server. This allows the use of switching boards which are only available with Windows drivers.

AMTELCO's XDS H.100 PCI MC-3 board expands the number of simultaneous conference calls to 84 and the total number of conference participants to 228. The board includes an on-board Music on Hold port.
