Amtelco Users Set Record Attendance at 2008 Conference

McFarland, WI - The National AMTELCO Equipment Owners (NAEO) 2008 Conference was held in Savannah, Georgia, February 3-6. The conference set a record for attendance with over 250 attendees representing well over 100 call centers. NAEO and AMTELCO provided in-depth educational presentations during the conference and AMTELCO announced major software and hardware innovations. Kevin Beale, AMTELCO’s Director R & D Software, presented new releases designed to add new services and increase profits for call centers.

The AMTELCO innovations that generated the greatest interest and discussion included:

  • Unity Voice Logger – perform call recordings, applying the proven reliability and maintenance of the Infinity server to voice logging services with the industry’s first integral voice logging solution. Unity uses the integral voice processing and conferencing resources of the Infinity server to perform call recordings
  • Infinity Real Time Backup – allows the entire Infinity database to be replicated on a real time basis to a Backup Infinity Server, ensuring you always have a current backup server ready if it is ever needed
  • VoIP Technology – add native VoIP services to your Infinity system with AMTELCO’s new XDS VoIP Board. Use VoIP for local operator audio, remote operator audio, and SIP trunking to VoIP telephone carriers and PBX’s
  • Client Management Intelligence (CMI) – integrate AMTELCO’s Intelligent Messaging with CMI to automatically build a contact database for your customers as you take calls for them. Resell the contact database back to your customers, increasing revenue opportunities and tying your customer much closer to your business
  • ANI Behavior – take advantage of the Automatic Number Identification (ANI) you receive as part of each call to automate and streamline the services you provide, including call screening of unwanted callers, automated client call forwarding without tying up operator time, automated lookup of caller demographic information, and much more
  • Contact-Based Dispatching – ensure all messages are delivered to your clients using AMTELCO’s Intelligent Series contact based dispatching and on-call scheduling

The day before the conference, AMTELCO University hosted a well-attended seminar by Gary Kerner, and Susan Kirkpatrick presenting the latest “Work Smarter, Not Harder” tips and tricks.
