     AMTELCO Announces Disaster Planning Tools

McFarland, WI - July 2006 - It is very important for every call center to have a plan in place in the event of business interruption due to telephone outages, power outages, and natural disasters. AMTELCO is pleased to announce several options available to keep call centers up and running and providing service to their clients. These options include both on-premise and hosted solutions.

Infinity Virtual Solutions
Amtelco can now provide a hosted Microsoft® Virtual Server that can host a call center’s SQL Server and Infinity Intelligent Series server. This solution is installed on a cluster of servers at our secure hosted facility providing 100% uptime by automatically activating an alternate server if the primary server fails. Windows® patches or Infinity Intelligent Series server updates are performed without any downtime. Amtelco takes care of the backup and the servers are monitored around the clock.

Amtelco’s secure hosted facility guarantees 100% uptime for this server solution. This Virtual Server lives on two datacenters in different geographical locations. If there is a disaster affecting the primary Virtual Server, network requests will immediately be forwarded to the other server location.

AMTELCO’s Virtual Server can provide increased reliability and availability, while securely providing global access to your data. When using Amtelco’s virtual solution there is no need to purchase server software licenses, SQL Server licenses or the hardware for running the server.

Infinity Emergency Access
The Infinity Emergency Access service allows call centers to answer their phone calls if, for any reason, their Infinity was not able to function properly due to telephone line or equipment failure.

Amtelco’s hosted Emergency Access provides an Infinity server at a secure site that supplies the call center service within minutes. In the event of a disaster, the call center would call AMTELCO and request to use the back-up Infinity. A block of toll-free 800 numbers is then provided so that critical clients can forward their calls. Call centers can access the back-up Infinity accounts via the Internet, with an operator and supervisor login, and set them up for their clients.

Securing Your Infinity Data with Infinity Back-up Operator
The optional Infinity Back-up Operator application allows data from the Infinity server to be exported over the network to a Microsoft® Access database on each operator’s desktop computer, or on a central file server. The data that is exported includes all operator set-up information, client information, directories, and on-call schedules.

Infinity Back-up Server
The Infinity database can be backed up to another Infinity server using the optional Network Backup feature.

The Network Backup feature provides the ability to have a live stand-by Infinity server in place with a current database. One of the Infinity Telephony Servers in a multi-chassis configuration can be used as the back-up server, or it can be a stand-alone server.
