The Next Generation IS Directory expands the type of information that can be stored about people, places, and things to include complete contact information and on-call scheduling information. This allows a single Directory Listing to be used for multiple purposes, including displaying information to operators and Web users, providing contact information and methods for dispatching, and providing on-call scheduling capabilities.
